A personal style/photography/fashion/music blog run by cousins Alyssa and Kurtis; situated in Edmonton, AB Canada.
Vintage shopping in Edmonton is limited compared to other cities but unfortunately I live here. There are a few stores in the city that have some nice selections. Divine and Decadence both have a large selection of good quality vintage items. The two stores can be found on Whyte avenue. Of course there is always Value Village, the one off Gateway Boulevard is probably the best one to check out. There was one store in the West end that Alyssa was going to show me. I believe its called Goodwill but I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm talking about thrift shopping because the jean jacket in my outfit today was bought from a Value Village. It cost $14 and I couldn't be any happier with it. Just a simple jacket that is outlined with plaid makes it different. The rest of my outfit consist of a hoodie from American Apparel, scarf from Urban Outfitters, Levi jeans from Urban Outfitters, and some Vans from Gravity Pope. I have a question for all of you: Do you have a favourite used clothing store in your city? If yes, what is it called? I hope you have a great day and happy scavenging!
