Zombie Apocalypse?

I know this is a little irrational... but my worst fear in the entire world would be a zombie apocalypse. Kurtis, my brother, Trevor, and I have watched enough Resident Evil games played by my father to have scarred me from a very young age. Okay, I exaggerated a little. I wasn't THAT young. I've even read The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks to make sure I'll be in good hands once it does happen. It's just a matter of time until the human race becomes idiotic enough to discover something so dangerous and release it to the public. Just kidding, that was a little tough. A little off topic, but just to let you know, I am watching The Walking Dead (which I did not have the time to watch last night...oops!) as I type this. Anyway, back to zombies. I don't know what exactly I wanted to say about zombies, except that I hope I never have to deal with zombies in my life time. These boots make me look like a giant

I lied. They don't really make me look like a giant. But they do give me a good few inches to add to my height (which the boyfriend does not approve of). 

Regardless, Kurtis took these photos yesterday after we went shopping, but I didn't have the time to post the pictures and what not.

Also, Kurtis and I went shopping today at West Edmonton Mall and we both managed to buy a handfull of things! I'll share everything tomorrow!
Here's a little sneak peek of a pair of Deena & Ozzy boots I found for $29.99 (originally $144.00)! I'm quite excited to wear them out, because they are just so unique and absolutely ridiculous! I'm in love!
Good thing Kurtis was there at Urban Outfitters with me. I was so tempted to buy another 2 pairs! But he reasoned with me and I realized that really, I don't need anymore shoes...or do I?

The Cools

I've never really been that good at introductions--especially when writing blog posts. But oh well, I guess this isn't an English 101 class or something like that (thank goodness I never have to take an English University course again!).
Anyway, two things today!
First, I've got pictures of some of the things I bought when I went thriftin' Tuesday! (The other two sweaters are in the process of being washed).
Second, Kurtis and I received an invitation to be a member of a site called thecools.com, which is in essence, an online community where people can sell their new, used, and/or vintage clothing/accessories. It's still in the beta mode right now, but what really caught my eye about this website was its simplicity! Both browsing and selling are made very simple and efficient. I'd recommend taking a look once it officially launches!
PS: I'm going to start putting up some unused clothing for sale. So keep an eye out for that!

Shoes are a girl's best friend

Here's another quick post. What I'm really trying to say is that there won't be another outfit post coming anytime soon.
On the upside, I managed to go thrifting again yesterday with some friends, and bought a couple sweaters, along with a pair of $6.99 loafers! That saves me having to spend $60.00 on a pair of brand new ones! I'm very excited to wear them out!
Annnnnnd remember those BDG jean shorts I bought from Urban Outfitters? We'll I've been fraying them and can't wait to show you guys the finished product!
PS: I have really, really, really bad shoe cravings right now.

First World Problems... Just kidding, that was out of bad taste

Time and time again, I go to my closet and weed out the do not wants (I'm thinking of putting some clothes up for sale again, except not on facebook).

Yet, I keep on returning to my basics over and over again and refuse to get rid of them. I just can't get enough--who can?
Anyway, lately, I've been craving basic tanks, equestrian-style boots, and knit snoods. Ahhhh I want everything.

I cannot wait to go shopping. Last week, I had no time to think of such luxuries, and now, I am feeling my shopping addiction just pulling at my strings.
You may think I'm overreacting, but If I don't buy something soon, I won't be able to stop thinking about shopping. My goodness.

Privé Sales

I just wanted to quickly post some pictures from the Privé sales Sunday Select and Deconstructed Details. 

I absolutely love the pieces, and if I did not have the budget of a student (I now have a $30 weekly budget...I've got high hopes...), I would be all over this online site.

Scary movies are the worst

I just watched Paranormal Activity 3 with a friend. That is all that's left to say.

I watched pretty much the entire movie through the corner of the screen, and wanted to die from all the stresses of waiting and waiting and then being surprised. I do not understand why I pay to put myself through such horrors. Regardless, here I am, sleepless (nor do I want to enter my bathroom for fear of Bloody Mary). Overall, the movie tied into the first and second movies quite well, and was just as scary, if not scarier, than the second. Kids and ghosts never go well. 

Anyway, as I promised, here are pictures of my WeWood watch! I really don't want to sleep right now...

The watch itself is gorgeous. I'm so happy with how light and how versatile it is! Also, a tree is planted with every watch purchased! Hooray for the Earth! 

On the down side, the price of the watch including shipping and customs tax was a bit more than expected. Including shipping, I had estimated the price of my watch to be around $80.00 CAD. But a rather expensive customs tax fee at the door for 4 WeWood watches was a bit surprising, increasing the price of each watch to $100.00. 

I don't think I'll be ordering from Jacks Threads for a very long time...until they get free shipping.
