Last night, I impulsively decided I wanted to give myself bangs. I proceeded to watch a youtube video on how to cut your own bangs done by this cute red-haired lady with a European accent of some sort. After, I walked over to my bathroom, grabbed a plastic bag to keep the stray hairs from falling all over my white floors (it didn't help), and used a pair of ten-year-old scissors to undo a years worth of hair growth. The whole time, I kept telling myself "It's only hair, it's only hair". And now, I have something that feels like a bowl cut and makes me look 5 years younger. But I can't complain. Sometimes change is good. Especially when it's spontaneous.

I like it! I always seem to impulsively chop off all my hair every time I finally grow it out, too. I just don't know why it happens, but it does.

A bowl cut? Puhhhlease. Girl, you rock that hairdo like no one else. The combination of the blunt bangs, slight wave, and bleached ends makes you look like a rocker kawaii-cool girl. If that even remotely makes any sense of course.
It's funny that I should see this now though. I've been thinking about getting bangs for a while (since I've heard that they can make a forehead seem smaller and I, in possession of the world's biggest forehead EVER, definitely need that!). Even though I pinky promised my brother that I wouldn't cut my own hair, I'm really really tempted to follow in your footsteps. If you can find it again, I would love to see that video you watched. Once I muster up the bravery necessary, I may want to cut myself some bangs too. One of these days...
On a somewhat different topic, this outfit is almost as cool as your hair. The combination of prints is a delight. Polka dots+leopard+plaid. So why hasn't this been done before again?
