I don’t know what it is about the end of the year (or maybe it’s just the word, “end”) that brings the need for urgent reflection, but it’s something that I’ve always challenged myself to do (mostly because I have a terrible memory and trying to remember everything that happened in the past 8000 or so hours is something akin to a Brain Age game). In 2016, I played over 100 hours of Overwatch, took over ten thousand photos, learned how to use Snapchat, filmed a commercial, and watched New Classics Studios turn two years old. I also neglected this blog a lot, probably ate too many chips to do me any good, and took many things for granted. But hey, there’s no better time than the present to become better. So here’s to a new year and new Moleskine. Let’s just hope that this one doesn’t end up like my last.
